The Syracuse Biathlon Club has added a summer event on Saturday, September 11th. This will be a mass start format with 5k for all classes. We will be holding the race at Osceola Tug Hill Ski Center with registration at 9:00, zero/safety clinic at 10:00 and start at 11:00. Entry fee is $20 and there will be race day registration only.

The 2010 Tri States has an additional lodger. CrossRoads Inn and Cabins in Redfield has cabins that has 6 beds, a cottage that houses 2-3 people and 5 rooms….the location is beautiful right on Salmon River Reservoir in Redfield.

The annual Tri-States Summer Biathlon championship will be returning to New York on the weekend of October 9-10. For the first time ever the series will be held at the Osceola Tug Hill ski center. The weekend will feature several races along with lunch each day and presentations.

The Lake Placid Biathlon Club will be hosting a summer biathlon race on Saturday August 11, 2010. Race day registration $15 from 8-9:30, zero 9:30, race at 10:30. Contact Rick Costanza for more information.
Summer Biathlon Website Administrator
New York Biathlon is seeking a web administer to run the summer biathlon website (summer.nybiathlon.org). The successful candidate will work to enhance and maintain the existing website. The website is running WordPress as a blog/CMS.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of PHP and Javascript
- Knowledge of WordPress 2.9
- Knowledge of biathlon
- Graphic design experience
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Previous web design/ administration experience
Compensation
- This is a volunteer position
